The 3rd Annual Very Special Yoga Teachers’ Retreat is just for Yoga Teachers!

How to Keep On Keeping On
How do we keep our motivation strong and clear?
How do we take care of ourselves so we can care for our students?
How can we maintain our own practice instead of planning classes on the mat?
What does it mean to have a practice anyway?

Many lovely yoga retreats are designed as a yoga family holiday but this one is just for yoga professionals, like you! Let’s spend four solid days together revisiting:
- Our motivation and inspiration
- Our information and questions
- Our understanding and wisdom
- Our talk and our walk
Rocking Mornings of 2.5 hour OM yoga asana classes!
It’s gonna take at least this long to get where we want to go — mindfully moving into twisty binds, big backbends and longer, stronger inversions. Because we are all teachers here, you will get to work on material that you usually don’t get to practice in an average yoga class. We will go slow and steady.
AND…Cyndi will work with everyone to help you figure out where you are stuck, why, and how to get unstuck. Together we will learn a lot and have sweaty fun!
Chill out afternoons afternoons with Pranayama, Restorative & Meditation A balance to the morning and a path toward becoming intimate with ourselves. Meditation finishes each day to brighten our hearts as we meet the world. In between:
Mid-day Methodology sessions will focus on “right view” for teachers as we continue to manifest the elegant life practice of Being a Yogi.
There will a pre-homework reading and writing assignment.
Friday & Saturday
9:30am – 12pm ~ Rocking Morning Practice
1:30pm – 3:30pm ~ Mid-day Methodology
4:00pm – 5:30-ish (we might go to 6)~ Chill Out Afternoon Practice
9:30am – 10:45am Yoga Church class with the Community
11am – 1pm Dharma Talk: Re-entering the Stream
During lunch you can explore charming Lynchburg with it’s beautiful bluff walk overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains and the James River and lots of cute down-town cafes and shops.
We will have some fun special activities, ie.: yoga movie night, walking meditation along the James River, meditating at the Anne Spencer House and dinner at Cyndi and Brad’s house on Saturday night.
This retreat will give you 30 credit hours.
