This 8-hour Long Life Yoga Intensive will give you the tools to confidently and creatively incorporate proven longevity practices into your yoga practice, yoga classes and private sessions with students of all ages.
This intensive is designed for yoga students seeking a practice intensive that will support them for years to come, and yoga teachers wishing to expand their teaching skills and marketability around the growing interest in longevity practices.
Each day will be focussed on specific aspects of Longevity work as well as engaging in some of its best practices:
TOPICS
– Understanding longevity, life optimisation, health span, life span
– 6 Pillars of Longevity
– 4 Pillars of Movement: the #1 aging intervention
– 7 Categories of Movement for Longevity
SYLLABUS
The training will be divided into two afternoon sessions. Each session will begin with a refreshingly creative Sustainable Yoga class emphasising the 7 movement elements necessary for longevity.
Sustainable Yoga is about presence, stability, nimbleness, curiosity and nourishment. It is never goal-oriented or performative, and is available to everyone who wishes to engage. This makes it an ideal base for creating Long Life Yoga classes.
Each class is designed to help you:
– Grow your ‘healthspan’ through targeted yoga for longevity practice
– Build bone and muscle strength through a yogic approach to ‘progressive load’ work
– Practice specific sequences that you can learn and take home with you.– Feel energised without spiking cortisol or burning out adrenals
Along with alignment-based instructions to clarify position and intention, Cyndi will drop in mindfulness instructions to help you balance action and attention.
And, it will be fun!

Introduction and exploration of Yoga’s 10 Guidelines to Balanced Living through:
– short dharma talks
– contemplative journaling

Movement practices focussing on longevity nervous system essentials to ignite your curiosity, hone your focus, soothe your soul, and open your mind.
– Breathwork
– Mindfulness Meditation
– Outdoor Walking Meditation
– Super-Effective Restorative Work
All participants can receive CE units through the American Yoga Council.
